the 4th china international import expo(ciie) opened grandly in shanghai on november 5. as one of the members of the central enterprises trading delegation, the state power investment corporation (spic) organized relevant subsidiaries to hold a centralized signing ceremony, in a bid to put in place the directives by president xi jinping, i.e. “the ciie, an event to be held on an annual basis, will feature good performance, good results and continuous success in the years to come.”
on behalf of shanghai nuclear engineering research and design institute (snerdi), liu xin, director of the procurement center, signed with the westinghouse electric corporation the execution agreement on cap1400 waste treatment facilities equipment and service supply contract. the signing was witnessed by hu jiandong, chairman and party secretary of shanghai electric power company, wang mingdan, president of snerdi, wang bin, vice president of spic department of international business, and liu xingang, president of wec asia operating plant service business.
from “hosted by china” to “shared by the world”, from “gathering the globe” to “benefiting the globe”, the china market is becoming a market for the world, a market shared by all. the ciie is not only a grand international trade event, but reflects the china’s enormous contribution to the economic globalization, and demonstrates its role as one of the major driving force of the global economic recovery.
this year, 98 sub-delegations of the central enterprises trading delegation attends the ciie. the leads of spic’s relevant departments and subsidiaries attend the signing ceremony.
